VERGE CUTTING SCHEDULE IN OUR DISTRICT

Braintree District Council works in partnership with Essex County Council to ensure that the rural highway verges across the district are cut annually. The schedule for this autumn can be found here: Autumn 2023 verge cutting schedule – Braintree District Council.

Please note that the cutting schedule is dependent on weather conditions; periods of heavy rainfall mean that our contractor is unable to cut the verges without causing damage. This can put our contractor behind and so the schedule should be used as a guide only.
