Following an extensive programme of improvements, we now offer a spacious venue for events and parties, regular classes and meetings. This includes FREE WiFi and a wide screen wall mounted TV. The interior of the hall has been revamped to include a new bar area, modern kitchen and toilets. The layout ensures ease of access for those with disabilities and a hearing loop is in place. Centrally heated with a pure air filter, allowing windows to remain closed in the colder months. Click here for a plan of the hall.
The Hall is available to hire for regular classes, such as dance, yoga, pilates.
The Parish Council holds its bi-monthly meetings in the Hall; national, county and district elections are also held here.
The Hall is also an ideal location for parties and family celebrations at any time of year. The play equipment – small football area, basketball and outside table tennis table – can all be enjoyed during the warmer months. Parking is at the rear of the Hall.
Capacity: The hall is licensed for 100 people but will only seat a maximum of 60 at tables and chairs. We recommend a maximum of 36 children for a seated meal at a party.
Bouncy castles – Hirers may organise the hire of a bouncy castle but hirers should confirm that they have full comprehensive insurance for this activity. The Parish Council cannot be held responsible. There is room outside for a bouncy castle, but indoor space is limited by ceiling height . Castles for indoors must be under 2.5 metres. It is the hirers responsibility to check that their castle will fit within the hall.
Hire Fees. (From 1st April 2024)

Occasional hirers will be sent an invoice once a booking has been made. Payment must be made in full within 5 days upon receipt of the invoice, to reserve the date If the hire is cancelled at any time, the deposit element of the hire charge (currently £50) will not be repaid. The hire fee will only be repaid if the cancellation is made within 14 days of the event date.
A regular hirer must pay a £50 deposit upon booking to reserve a block of dates, and in full once the invoice is issued at the end of each month. If the booking is cancelled less than 7 days before the event date, the hire fee will still be charged. The £50 deposit will be retained until such time as the hirer ceases using the hall and will be refunded in accordance with our terms and conditions. Payment must be made via the Hallmaster payment system Stripe.
